Newly Discovered Websites
Geekdad is awesome. Did you know that you can tell the temperature outside by counting cricket chirps? Want a fun summer game to play with the kids? Try the Alka Seltzer game. Basically, you make a little hole in an Alka Seltzer so that you can wear it as a necklace. Then, the object of the game is to get your opponent's Alka Seltzer wet so that it falls off. Awesome!
Amie Street is an independent music store where all songs start free and rise in price the more they are purchased. Popular artists are beginning to take notice of the site because of it's unique pricing model and great artist compensation model.
Blabberize
Blabberize allows you to add audio to a photo. How? First, you upload a photo (preferably one with a closed mouth). Then, you define the mouth area. Next, you have to have a microphone attached to your computer to record the audio. You record the audio that you want your subject to speak and blabberize takes care of the rest. Most of the videos are pretty silly, however I got some good laughs out of the service.
